Minimal Damage to Ithaca Home

Yesterday, disaster struck at 509 West Clinton Street in Ithaca in the form of a house fire. Around 6:50 pm Friday, December 28, Ithaca Fire Department members rushed to extinguish the blaze in the bedroom of a quaint two-story home. Norfe J. Pirro, the owner of the $110,588 property, was uninjured. According to acting Ithaca Fire Chief Chris OíConnor, there was no structural damage to the house. The cause of the fire is under investigation. ''With reporting from the Ithaca Journal.''
