A brawl and assault in Ithaca’s West Village from late last October has now resulted with official charges declared onto two people. Diseree Richmond and Dante Sweat have been charged with four counts of attempted murder, first degree burglary, a variety of counts of unlawful imprisonment, assault, and child endangerment. The two have pled not guilty.
Acquisitions assert that the two illegally broke into and entered a Chestnut St. apartment complex with undefined criminal intentions and subsequently attacked victims by knife. The break in turned into a fight which left four injured and another four in police custody; one woman in particular was in serious condition following stabs to her neck.
