TCPL’s Graphic Novel Book Club to Discuss They Called Us Enemy, by George Takei

ITHACA—Tompkins County Public Library’s Panel by Panel Graphic Novel Book Club for adults will meet from 6:30 to 7:30 pmon Monday, September 9, in the Library’s Tompkins Trust Company Study Room, to discuss George Takei’s They Called Us Enemy.


Adults are invited to celebrate their love of this delightful and subversive medium in a friendly group setting. In They Called Us Enemy, actor/author/activist George Takei recounts his childhood experience of being imprisoned with other Japanese Americans in American concentration camps during World War II.
