Schools are closed due to wintry weather on Monday

Quite a few area school districts are closed this Monday morning, November 21st. Check back to wvbr.com or 14850.com for updates.


Closed for the day on November 21st:

  • Ithaca City School District

  • Lansing Central School District

  • Dryden Central School District

  • Trumansburg Central School District

  • Newfield Central School District

  • Groton Central School District

  • T-S-T BOCES

  • Watkins Glen Central School District

  • Binghamton City School District

  • Owego Apalachin Central School District

  • Marathon Central School District

  • Namaste Montessori School

  • Odessa-Montour Central School District has closed for the day. They were originally on a two-hour delay.

  • Tompkins Cortland Community College (TC3) is closed. All day and evening classes are canceled at all locations. Students in residence halls at TC3 can get meals at the TC3 Eatery from 10am-2pm.

  • SUNY Cortland has canceled classes for today. Staff and faculty who are concerned about travel conditions "are encouraged to use accrued time and not report to work."

Remember to clear all the snow off your car, especially all lights and windows, and turn on your lights when driving in bad weather.


Ithaca Fire Department reminds everyone to shovel out fire hydrants near their homes and businesses so they can be seen and accessed if they're needed.
