Cornell University Department of Music presents two organ concerts September 21 and 25

David Yearsley performs a program entitled “Transalpine” in Anabel Taylor Chapel on Saturday, September 21 at 7:00pm. This program follows the musical path of the polymath musician, diplomat, and churchman Agostino Steffani across Europe on either side of 1700, with works by him and his colleagues and admirers, J. C. Kerll, N. A. Strungk, J. H. d’Anglebert, Georg Böhm, and G. F. Handel.  Then on Wednesday, September 25, Anna Steppler performs at Midday Music at 12:30pm in Sage Chapel with a program entitled “Te Deum laudamus” featuring music by women composers Jeanne Demessieux, Judith Bingham, and Cecilia McDowall.  Concerts are free and open to the public.

WVBR is a local commercial radio station broadcasting from Ithaca, New York to the Counties of Tompkins, Tioga, Cortland, Cayuga, Seneca, Schuyler, and Chemung.
