Move over LaDainian Tomlinson, there's a new guy
in the discussion for the best running back in the NFL, and he just ran roughshod
over your defense. That's right, I'm talking about Adrian Peterson.
Now,
perhaps I'm jumping to conclusions far too quickly, but I mean, when a guy breaks
the single game rushing mark in his rookie season and possesses a rare blend of
speed and power, it's hard not to get excited.
At the very least, Mr.
Peterson is the ''hottest'' running back in the NFL and maybe a top
consideration for top pick in fantasy drafts heading into next year. We
shouldn't just forget how good LT has been in the recent past, but at the same
time, you must realize how great Peterson has been/will be for years to
come.
It's not just that the guy had one great game yesterday and broke a
record: he's been getting it done all year long, and lead the league in rushing
''before'' this game even started. So, watch out linebackers, corners, and
safeties--Adrian is going to be haunting your thoughts for the next decade or
more.
Be the first!
