ITHACA— Tompkins County Public Library is proud to announce the 2019 Community Read Ambassadors: Shirley Collado, Susan Currie, Leslie Daniels, Luca Maurer, Deb Mohlenhoff, Shanna Moore, Ducson Nguyen, and Larry Roberts.
The Ambassadors will help promote the 2019 Community Read by posting on social media, culminating in a reveal of the 2019 title on September 4. Since 2001, Tompkins County Public Library has hosted the Community Read, an initiative to engage diverse parts of the community by sharing the pleasure and intellectual stimulation of reading and discussing a selected book, while promoting literacy and open dialogue.
