TCPL’s Tween Book Club to Read and Compare Two Books in September

ITHACA—Tompkins County Public Library’s Tween Book Club will meet Wednesday, September 11 from 3:45 to 4:45 pm in the Library’s Thaler/Howell Programming Room to discuss Drita—My Homegirl, by Jenny Lombard and Inside Out and Back Again, by Thanhha Lai. Children ages 9 to 12 are welcome to join the Tween Book Club on the second Wednesday of each month. In September, the club will be reading and comparing Drita—My Homegirl, by Jenny Lombard and Inside Out and Back Again, by Thanhha Lai. Registration is required. Register and pick up a free copy of this month’s books at the Youth Services Reference Desk. Participants are welcome to bring suggestions for future books to read and discuss. Refreshments will be served. The Tween Book Club is made possible with funding from the Friends of the Tompkins County Public Library.
