ITHACA—Tompkins County Public Library is pleased to offer a workshop in the basics of Microsoft Word Tuesday, August 27, from 2:30 to 4:00 pm, in the Library’s Digital Lab. Instructional designer Lauren Haas will lead this workshop in the basics of Microsoft Word. Participants will learn to create a new document and how to use different tools to format documents, by adjusting things like font size and style, page orientation, margins, and line spacing. Participants are expected to be experienced with using the basic tools of the Windows 10 operating system; using a keyboard and mouse; and accessing, importing, and saving files.
