Cornell Ithaca Campus Crime Alert - Menacing on 6 South Avenue

On Monday November 18, 2019 at approximately 2:07 p.m., the Cornell University Police received a report of a Menacing in the roadway in front of 6 South Avenue.  The victims report that just before 2:07 p.m. today, they had a road rage incident were a male passenger exited a vehicle waving a black sheath holding a knife in the air.  

The victims describe the white male passenger as 5’8”, skinny, salt and pepper facial hair, short black hair in a buzz cut, wearing baggy jeans and a dark t-shirt. The vehicle was being operated by a female. The victims provided the following vehicle information, New York registration HVZ9313, a black 2012 Honda Pilot.

The Cornell University Police are continuing the investigation. Anyone with information is asked to call the Cornell University Police at 607-255-1111, use a blue light phone or dial 911. Cornell Police reminds the community to walk in groups and utilize the RAVE Guardian app when on or near campus.
