CMG Executive Board
WVBR General Manager
Hi! My name is Lauren and I am the General Manager of WVBR 93.5-FM. I have been in Cornell Media Guild since 2020, working on the Music and Programming side of operations. Radio has been my most treasured college experience and now, I am so excited for a successful year in CMG as your GM.
I am a senior in the Arts & Sciences College Scholar Program, studying Cognitive Science and Multimedia with a minor in Information Science. Outside of WVBR, I enjoy collecting vinyl records, playing video games, watching/listening to/analyzing film and music, and playing bass in my local band Skip Tracer. I look forward to another amazing year in Cornell Media Guild, and I hope to utilize radio to emphasize and reinforce the incredible musical community we have here in Ithaca while further cultivating our growing student community.
If you have any questions or concerns for me, please feel free to contact me personally at firstname.lastname@example.org or email@example.com. Thank you!
Hi! I’m Greg Kerr and I am a junior at Cornell studying History. I am the Treasurer for WVBR. I handle all the finances for the organization, monitoring all transactions coming in and out. I execute payroll, pay taxes, balance the books, talk to the bank, and more! It isn’t much on the surface but I do my best to keep things running behind the scenes. Outside of WVBR I am involved with the Museum Club here on campus and EBR (our recording studio in the same building as WVBR). Catch me taking a break from doing work whenever I can.
I am a senior Communication major in CALS, minoring in business and art. Given my new position as Corporate Secretary, I am excited to be involved in the various subsidiaries and serve the Guild as best I can. I enjoy marketing, writing, and painting and recently got super into golfing! I joined CMG towards the end of the spring semester due to Kate Snow’s Cornell visit; She talked about how what she learned in WVBR continues to play a pivotal part in her career. I hope this organization can be a hub where we create more big and small moments of inspiration for members and those who have yet to join the Guild!

Hi! I’m Abby and I am a junior in Arts & Sciences pursuing an independent major within the College Scholar Program. Since joining CMG as a freshman, I have primarily worked in Sales & Business. In my first role as Business Director, I reported to the Sales Manager and GM, brainstorming strategies to increase revenue for the Guild. I have been Sales Manager for the Guild since fall 2021. In my position, I communicate with local and national advertisers on a regular basis, and have closed numerous significant deals. CMG has provided me with hands-on business experience, as well as a community of great people who are passionate about music and the media industry. I am a sophomore at Cornell studying Communication with an intended minor in Fashion Design Management. I am WVBR’s Content Manager, so I create graphics, ads, and social media materials for the station as part of the Marketing and Promotions Team. I love WVBR because of the variety of alternative music we play on our station that’s perfect for chill late-night study sessions, morning drives, and strolls around Cornell’s beautiful campus. Outside of WVBR, you can find me singing in my co-ed a cappella group, The Key Elements, or meticulously curating Spotify playlists for every aesthetic.
