WVBR General Manager
Lauren Thomas
Hi! My name is Lauren and I am the General Manager of WVBR 93.5-FM. I have been in Cornell Media Guild since 2020, working on the Music and Programming side of operations. Radio has been my most treasured college experience and now, I am so excited for a successful year in CMG as your GM.
I am a senior in the Arts & Sciences College Scholar Program, studying Cognitive Science and Multimedia with a minor in Information Science. Outside of WVBR, I enjoy collecting vinyl records, playing video games, watching/listening to/analyzing film and music, and playing bass in my local band Skip Tracer. I look forward to another amazing year in Cornell Media Guild, and I hope to utilize radio to emphasize and reinforce the incredible musical community we have here in Ithaca while further cultivating our growing student community.
If you have any questions or concerns for me, please feel free to contact me personally at gm@wvbr.com or lgt28@cornell.edu. Thank you!
