Jordan D. Gremli
Jordan Gremli is Head of Content at Sofar Sounds. In this role, he works to create and promote video/audio content captured across Sofar’s expansive network of live shows, with the main goal of helping artists develop their careers. Before Sofar, Jordan spent nearly eight years at Spotify as Head of Artist & Fan Development, managing a team responsible for building programs and tools that help artists build their audiences by connecting them with the right fans throughout every step of the artist development process. This included developing and running Fans First, Spotify's fan reward program. And before Spotify, he spent four years as Program Director at SiriusXM Satellite Radio, where he oversaw four rock-based music channels. He graduated from Cornell University in 2008 with a Bachelor's Degree in Atmospheric Science, but spent most of his time as an undergraduate at WVBR, serving as General Manager and Program Director. He has been on the Board since 2008 and has been Chair since 2017.
Specialties: Business Development, Sales, Sales Management P+L management of early stage companies and turnarounds. I source and develop opportunities for small companies looking to grow. My original background is media and includes custom Hardware/Software solutions, publishing and non-traditional advertising.
Eric Blumberg '14 (MEng '15) was the Program Director at WVBR from 2012-2014 and the Chief Operator from 2011-2012. He was also a weekly DJ during his 5 years at Cornell. He has been on the Board of Directors since 2018. Eric received his Bachelor of Science and a Master of Engineering degrees at Cornell, both in Civil Engineering, and has worked at a Geotechnical Engineer in NYC and the surrounding area since 2015.
Corey Ryan Earle
Corey Ryan Earle '07 has worked in Alumni Affairs & Development at Cornell since 2008 and chairs the Cornell Media Guild alumni relations committee. He is also a visiting lecturer and teaches a 400-person class on the history of Cornell.
Drew Endick has been a member of the Board of Directors since 2015. During his time as a Cornell student working at WVBR, Drew served as News Director and then as General Manager/President of CMG.
Lawrence (Larry) L. Epstein
I was President/GM of the Guild/WVBR from 1976-78 and have been a member of the Board of Directors since 1999. I currently serve on the Board's Alumni Relations, Sales/Business Development and Finance committees. I earned my BS in Industrial Engineering & Operations Research from Cornell in 1976 and my MBA there in 1978. From 1979-1993 I was a financial, strategic and technical planning executive for the CBS Owned Television Stations. From 1993-2002 I was Chief Financial Officer of companies in the satellite TV and TV technology businesses. Since 2003 I have been a teacher and administrator at Drexel University's Westphal College of Media Arts & Design in Philadelphia, where i teach classes in media and arts management & entrepreneurship.
Narie S. Foster
Narie Foster '09 was the VP Staff & Facilities, Chief Operator, VP Training, and a weekly DJ throughout her four years at Cornell and WVBR. Narie is an entrepreneur, investor, and advisor who co-founded MM.LaFleur, a direct-to-consumer fashion brand for professional women. She spent five years as the company’s Chief Operating Officer, helping to grow the company to $75 million in revenue and over 200 employees. In 2016, Narie was selected as one of Forbes' 30 Under 30 in Retail & E-Commerce, and in 2017, MM.LaFleur was #43 on Inc.'s list of the 5,000 fastest-growing private companies in America. Narie advises early-stage startups, teaches and mentors entrepreneurs, and incubates new projects. She has lectured on entrepreneurship at Cornell, MIT, Columbia Business School, the Wharton School, and NYU Stern. Narie began her career as a management consultant at Bain & Company, and before starting MM.LaFleur ran operations and finance at a boutique entertainment agency. Narie has a B.S. in Systems Engineering from Cornell and lives in Brooklyn, NY.
TJ Hurd served as the General Manager of WVBR from 2018-19 and the Assistant General Manager from 2017-18. He worked in many areas of the Guild during his time at Cornell, including DJing for both WVBR and CornellRadio.com, and running Electric Buffalo Records as President and Chief Audio Engineer.
Lauren Marie Kehe
Lauren has spent over a decade working and studying new and emerging media and how people use them to connect with their family, friends and businesses—first in the Computer-Mediated Communication Lab at Cornell University and most recently as a member of Facebook's Global Business Marketing team. As a member of the Board of Directors, Lauren is a member of the Business and Marketing & Promotions committees.
In 2014, I re-launched CornellRadio.com and went on to lead it throughout my time at Cornell. I'm very passionate about recruitment, developing campus partnerships, marketing, and more. I currently lead the committee for CornellRadio.com + Electric Buffalo Records. I'm excited to be part of the Board of Directors for a second term!
Patrick Lyons is a senior news editor at the New York Times. As a member of the Board of Directors, Pat is a member of the Talk Programming committee, which aims to help with maintaining and organizing the WVBR News and Sports departments.
Veronica Perez served as the Cornell Media Guild Inc. President from 2018-2019 and as Training and Recruitment Director from 2017-2018. She was also a DJ Jok at WVBR for 3 years.
More than 20 years experience as a marketer, alumni affairs professional, and volunteer manager. Specialties: Strategic planning, writing, social media, event planning, volunteer management, alumni affairs, creative ideation.
I spent four wonderful years at WVBR, primary in News and as News Director, but dabbling in sales, production, and as a DJ. That helped me carve out a career in news in both radio and television, and I'm currently a senior producer at CNBC.
