The Big Red are off to Green Bay!
After falling to Harvard, 6-1, on Friday night in the ECAC Tournament Semifinals, Cornell men's hockey rebounded against Colgate in the third-place game with a 3-0 win. Sean Collins, Dustin Mowrey, and John McCarron scored for the Big Red, while Andy Iles stopped all 25 shots Colgate put on goal.
With a win in the consolation game, Cornell secured an at-large bid for the NCAA Tournament. The Big Red earned the four seed in the Midwest region, where they will play Michigan, the number two team in the entire nation.
The game will be broadcast on ESPNU and ESPN3 on Friday at 9 PM.
