Yes, all 4 games were ugly. The first two, heartbreakingly ugly at the end. The other two, just ugly from the start. Of course I'm talking about the Boston Celtics' sweep of the New York Knicks. However, I really don't think Knick fans should have anything to worry about. The first two, heartbreakingly ugly at the end. The other two, just ugly from the start. Of course I’m talking about the Boston Celtics’ sweep of the New York Knicks. However, I really don’t think Knick fans should have anything to worry about. This was a Knicks team that was composed of a bunch of players who really didn’t have any playoff experience, beside Anthony, Stoudemire, and Billups. In Game 2, Billups went out with a knee injury never to play again in the series. In addition, Amar’e pulled a muscle in his back in Game 2 warm-ups attempting a dunk. If Game 2 showed anything, it showed that Carmelo by himself can keep the Knicks competitive against a great, playoff-experienced team like the Celtics. Above all, this is still a Knicks team in transition. Just look at the Miami Heat- it took them a pretty long time for James, Wade, and Bosh to finally play together amongst themselves and the rest of their supporting cast. If the Heat are any predictor of what the Knicks are to hopefully become with Carmelo and Amar’e, Knicks fans should be very optimistic and should look forward to a very successful Knicks season. Hey, come this time next year, who knows? The Knicks might be beating down on the 6th seed.
