One person was shot at Pete's Deli and Grocery late Tuesday afternoon. Officers from the Ithaca Police Department, the Tompkins County Sheriff's Office, and the State Police cordoned off the gas station off Buffalo. A SWAT team command center was also on scene. WSYR reports that one person has been taken to Cayuga Medical Center in connection with the incident. His condition and identity are as of yet unknown. Police were called to the scene at 805 W. Buffalo Street at about 5:00 P.M. Tuesday. The Ithaca Police Department and the Tompkins County Sheriffs office have declined to comment on the activity. Stay with WVBR as this story develops.
