Cornell Freshman Dies in Dorm
Boon Jim Lim '13 found dead
Boon Jim Lim '13, was found dead in his dormitory room early Monday. The Cornell Daily Sun reports that paramedics declared Lim dead at 3:55 A.M. on Monday morning.
Lim's resident advisor, Tony Craddock '10, enountered Lim's body after a friend of Lim's family contacted him saying that nobody had heard from Lim in several days. Residents of Clara Dickson Hall, where Lim lived, reported a strong odor in Lim's hallway that authorities now know was emanating from Lim's body.
Lim, a native of Malaysia, was a freshman in Cornell's College of Arts and Sciences.
No foul play is suspected in Lim's death. A memorial service will be scheduled in the coming days.
