Cornell University President David Skorton and Provost Kent Fuchs reassured staff that budget savings would continue to be made away from personnel matters at a "Reimagining Cornell" forum yesterday. Actions in the past year have cut the University’s projected deficit from $215 million to $135 million. Cornell expects to obtain $90 million more in savings without touching the "academic core of the University."
