Cornell University Police are investigating what they call a “distasteful prank.” At around 10:30AM Saturday, the Ithaca Fire department responded to what it believed was a body 200 feet below the Stewart Avenue Bridge. However, it was determined that the body was actually an inflatable mannequin dressed with pants and a t-shirt. The mannequin was removed so that the 911 emergency line would not be flooded with calls of concern. If you have any information about the incident, please call the Cornell Police at 607-255-1111.
