Students and local residents flocked to 40 College Ave. this past Wednesday afternoon for the opening of Yogurt Crazy, a self-serve frozen yogurt store that has set up shop in the former home of Johnny O’s. In addition to frozen yogurt, Yogurt Crazy is selling cookies, smoothies and bulk candy to give customers a wider variety of ways to satisfy their sweet tooth.
The Ithaca City School District Board of Education met on Tuesday night, April 3, to discuss the upcoming school budget. The board is expected to pass the budget on April 17th.
Cornell has the second highest percentage of tenured faculty in the Ivy League, according to an April 2011 survey by The Chronicle of Higher Education. University administrators say that this trend is not only due to the increasing average age of faculty, but is also a result of the University’s difficulties in hiring adjunct professors, who are paid per course taught and usually work part-time.
