Hard rock, post grunge, alternative metal... Just don't call them Christian rock. Flyleaf does share a strong connection to their faith that it influences their music, but their lyrics and melodies aren't held back. If anything, it allows the band to stand out from their post-grunge peers. Lacey Mosley's emotional vocals over the experimental riffs of guitarists Jared Hartmann and Sameer Bhattacharya. After a successful debut album and relentless touring, Flyleaf released their sophomore album, Memento Mori in November of 2009 and took the charts by storm with its lead single "Again".
