Best known as the lead singer and principal songwriter for The Strokes, Julian Casablancas is now stepping into the spotlight with his debut solo album "Phrazes for the Young" in stores now. While The Strokes have developed an agressive, garage rock style, Casablacas' solo effort tends more towards 80's influenced dance-rock.
Fun fact: The album title, "Phrases for the Young" is a reference to Oscar Wilde's 'Phrases and Philosophies for the Young'
