WVBR is pleased to announced its 5th Annual Ithaca's Top Mom Contest! Enter below for your chance to win!

Ithaca’s Top Mom is an essay contest for children in grades 3-5 in Ithaca and the surrounding communities. Students write a short essay (1-2 paragraphs) about what makes their mom special and why they think that she deserves the title of Ithaca’s Top Mom. Of these essays, three moms will be selected, each of which will be entered to win the grand prize of Ithaca’s Top Mom, which includes a gift certificate from Perrywinkle’s Fine Jewelry and a free three-month membership to Rasa Spa. The winning essay writer will receive a pizza party catered by the Scalehouse Brewpub for his/her classroom at school.

“Mom of the Week” winners will be announced on-air on WVBR 93.5 on April 18, 25, and May 2, as well as displayed online. After May 2, online voting at this page will open and listeners will be able to vote for which of the three Moms of the Week they believe should be Ithaca’s Top Mom. The winner will be announced during our program “Nonesuch” on Mother’s Day (5/13), as well as posted on wvbr.com. The student’s mother will also be contacted through email and/or telephone if her child wins.
