So, I decided that the internet didn't already have enough power rankings. I made my own.

Here are my week 6 NFL power rankings. Keep in mind that although this was technically uploaded after the Thurday Night Football game of week 7, it only takes into account games up to week 6.

Rank

Team

Record

Reasoning

1

Atlanta Falcons

6-0

Sure, their wins have been close and some have been against bad teams, but a win is a win.

2

Houston Texans

5-1

Despite the dismantling of the Texans defense by Aaron Rodgers last week, the Texans still look like a strong team.

3

New York Giants

4-2

Everything clicked last week as the Giants (my favorite team) went into San Fran and destroyed the 49ers.

4

Chicago Bears

4-1

This might seem a bit high, but the Bears defense is absolutely dominant and the offense isn’t bad either.

5

San Francisco 49ers

4-2

I think last week was a fluke for the otherwise best-rounded team in the NFL.

6

Baltimore Ravens

5-1

After almost losing to the Cowboys, an already struggling defense loses Ray Lewis, Ladarius Webb, and maybe even Ed Reed.

7

Green Bay Packers

3-3

The Packers have gone from average to deadly in one week. Not just any team can pick apart the Texans defense.

8

Seattle Seahawks

4-2

The defense already looked rock solid, but Russell Wilson and the offense proved themselves last week against the Pats.

9

New England Patriots

3-3

The Patriots have blown three games, and they have to prove themselves against a struggling Jets squad this week.

10

Denver Broncos

3-3

After a miserable first half against the Chargers, the Broncos defense forced six turnovers and Peyton looked about as good as he’s ever been.

11

Minnesota Vikings

4-2

The NFC North is looking incredible this year. The Vikings could have had 3 early touchdowns, but they ended up losing to the Redskins. Next week, they take on the Cards.

12

Arizona Cardinals

4-2

The Cardinals looked strong before losing to the Bills. While their defense is strong, they currently have no running game and what might be the worst O-line in the NFL.

13

Washington Redskins

3-3

RGIII proved himself to be an incredible athlete as he rushed for 138 yds. and 2 TD’s. This team has a lot of weapons and is no longer the automatic loser of the NFC East.

14

Cincinnati Bengals

3-3

If Andy Dalton could stop throwing picks, the Bengals would be a solid team. He had a good year last season and will most likely step it up next week.

15

Pittsburgh Steelers

2-3

The Steelers actually managed to lose to the Titans and the Raiders, 2 weak teams. If everyone could stay healthy, the Steelers might look like a playoff team.

16

Detroit Lions

2-3

The Lions won a close one against the Eagles. They clearly have some amazing talent; they just don’t utilize it every quarter.

17

Dallas Cowboys

2-3

The Cowboys will continue to be the Cowboys. They always seem to somehow underperform.

18

San Diego Chargers

3-3

Many are calling for Norv Turner’s head after the Chargers turned a 24 point lead into allowing the Broncos to score 35 straight points. Doesn’t get much worse than that.

19

Philadelphia Eagles

3-3

There are plenty of problems to count with this team. Weak O-line, Vick seems to want to give the ball away, and LeSean McCoy is extremely underused.

20

Miami Dolphins

3-3

The Dolphins look to be improving every week, and their red zone defense saved the day against the Rams.

21

Tampa Bay Buccaneers

2-3

Josh Freeman and Vincent Jackson really started to develop a good chemistry as the Bucs tore apart the Chiefs.

22

St. Louis Rams

3-3

Chalk this loss up to Greg the Leg messing 3 key field goals because of the wind. However, the Rams are in for a tough matchup next week against the Packers.

23

New York Jets

3-3

The Jets have a glimmer of hope after decimating the Colts. Maybe the Jets aren’t so bad without Revis. I wonder how Tebow is gonna be used this week.

24

New Orleans Saints

1-4

The Saints have a dangerous offense, but their defense is basically a sieve.

25

Carolina Panthers

1-4

The Panthers need to come up big against the Cowboys this Sunday after their bye week.

26

Buffalo Bills

3-3

The Bills somehow managed to eke out a win against the Cardinals in overtime and make the AFC east completely 3-3.

27

Indianapolis Colts

2-3

It looked like the Colts are up and down. Sometimes they look great, but sometimes they get blown out by the Jets. Go figure.

28

Oakland Raiders

1-4

The Raiders D played well but couldn’t keep it together long enough to defeat the 6-0 Falcons.

29

Tennessee Titans

2-4

The Titans managed to beat the Steelers in TNF and somehow look terrible in the process.

30

Cleveland Browns

1-5

The team that everyone always jokes about isn’t actually that bad this year. A solid win against the Bengals saves them from being last.

31

Jacksonville Jaguars

1-4

It seems that Blaine Gabbert is as bad as we thought he was and MJD is the only threat on this offense.

32

Kansas City Chiefs

1-5

The Chiefs have not been in the lead during regulation time this entire season. Nothing seems to be working.
