It has come to my attention that the DJ blog has no mention of the incredible Flaming Lips show that was at Barton Hall on Sunday, April 19th! Man what a show! Lasers, smoke, lights, loud distorted guitar solos, an electric gong and not to mention a flood of orange confetti! Lead singer Wayne Coyne was urging the crowd to help him make it the second best show at Barton Hall, second of course to the legendary show put on by the Grateful Dead some years ago. In my personal opinion I think he may have succeeded. The music was great, and the crowd was electric. The neo-psychadelic group rocked Cornell for one Sunday night, leaving a powerful message of peace and love, and living life to the absolute fullest. The final song 'Do You Realize?' was an incredible and touching finale and can be seen below.
