file=IMG_1468.jpg|width=200|align=leftThe past two
days have been an absolute whirlwind - but in the best possible
way. Last night we hosted Karaoke Against Cancer at
the url=http://www.theninesithacany.com/Ninesend-link
down in Collegetown in its inaugural year. It was amazing! We had
people up and singing straight from the beginning at 10 PM all the
way to about 10 after 1 AM. Some highlights:
John Mayer -
Waiting on the World to Change
KC and the Sunshine Band -
Get Down Tonight
Kelly Clarkson - The Trouble with Love
Is
Maroon 5 - This Love
Poison - Unskinny
Bop
Queen/David Bowie - Under Pressure
And last, but
certainly not least, Rick Astley's "Never Gonna Give You Up."
Cornell students, community members and VBR staffers came out and
gave their all and made for an incredibly fun night. It's sure to
happen again next year!
And the Second Annual Guitar
Hero Challenge took place just yesterday from 3 to 8 PM at
the Shops at Ithaca Mall. Lines stretched as far back as 40
people waiting to play for almost the entire time, and
participants never failed to impress with their skills at Guitar
Hero III.
So this was a lot of fun, but how'd we do for
Relay? We raised almost $700 to benefit the American Cancer
Society. And that's a very nice start. Don't forget that

is just a day away! Donate if you can, and come by Barton Hall at
Cornell University if you get the opportunity between 7 PM and 7
AM on Saturday, March 29th!
